Scripture: Ezekiel 22:30

Man Up

Ezekiel 22: 30

Eze 22:30 KJV - And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.

This is a ''Father's Day'' sermon that challenges men to ''Man Up.'' In the days of Ezekiel Israel was facing deviancy and debauchery, so before inflicting wrath and judgment upon the people, God sought for a man that would intercede on the behalf of his nation, but none were found. There was not one man that was willing to ''Man Up'' and hold his ground and honor his God.'' The great need in America today is for ''men'' to be ''real men'' that are interceders for their family, their nation, on behalf of their God.

She ran, but the man, Winston Moseley, was too quick. He caught her, slammed her to the ground and stabbed her twice in the back. She screamed twice, once yelling, ''Oh, God! I've been stabbed!''

Across the street, a man named Robert Mozer heard Genovese from his apartment. Looking out his seventh-floor window, he saw a man and a woman, sensed an altercation - he couldn't see exactly what was happening - and yelled out his window, ''Le ...
