A HIGH VIEW OF LIFE?
PSALM 139: 13, 14

JESUS CHRIST loved and loves little children. He said, "But
whoever who causes one of these little ones...to sin, it would
be better for him in a millstone were hung around his neck, and
he were drowned in the depth of the sea" (Matthew 18: 6).
Jesus Christ had a high view of human life. When adults were
trying to shoo little children away for Him He appealed for them
to be allowed to come unto Him at all costs.
Do you have a high view of human life? There are only two
allowables for taking a human life according to Scripture. One is
in defense of life and the other capital punishment. All
Scripture places the highest possible value on human life.
In the case of capital punishment Christ was scolded by Pilot
who said he had the authority to take His life. Pilot
represented the authority of the state. Christ in reply told him
he would not have this authority if it had not been given him by
His Father.
Likewise Paul when threatened with capital punishment gave
consent saying, "If I have done anything worthy of death I am
ready to die." He submitted to capitol punishment.
With these qualifications all other laws related to life
advocate supporting life by sustaining it.
On January 22, 1973, America through a ruling of the U.S.
Supreme Court, in the case of Roe v. Wade, entered into a new
stage of moral decline. In the opinion written by one of the
