ILLUS. - Buyer's Remorse -I was at a fundraiser auction recently and you could bid on a weeklong vacation. It was going for like $100 ... to Antigua for 7 to 9 days! I'm like what?! Then I read the fine print. - Taxes. Those taxes are like $200-$300 per person per day. Oh... and the flights are on you too. All the sudden this ''deal'' is like $3,500 or more. The fine print. - Someone may have one that bid for $300 and had a little remorse when they realized the details.

What is the ''fine print'' of justification. We don't buy it. It's a gift. But what is the fine print?

In being made right before God... declared righteous... justification by faith.... it works opposite. - Rather than discovering a lot of BAGGAGE... we discover we got more than we could have ever dreamed of. - Don't misunderstand me... we may be persecuted, etc. - But the blessing of believing is incalculable.

In Romans 5:1-11 Paul lays out for us the benefits, the blessings of being justified by faith. All of what he lists in this chapter is YOURS .... it's ALL YOURS if you are in Christ. If you have believed the Gospel, been justified by God... it's yours. - If not... IT CAN BE YOURS. -

Rom. 5:1-11- Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, 5 and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
