Now, most of our lives follow along three paths... The majority of Americans will have four stages to their lives. Singleness is a relatively short stage of life for a lot of us. Yet, an increasing number of you, life will look like this:
I didn't refresh these stats recently but the last time I checked, we had more than six hundred families within our church identify themselves as single including more than one hundred eighty widowers/widows.
And still some of you, life is simply somewhere been two or three stages, everything except marriage. Many of you are single again while some of you have always been single. No matter which of these lines represent you, here me when I say this: your single life is more than simply stage of life.
If you don't know me, I should tip my hand by saying what many of you already know, I am married with children for over twenty-two plus years. This may disqualify me in some minds, yet, the passage I am about to read was written by a single person, Paul. To this point, my hope is to teach the words of God and not my personal experiences.
