A Mama's Great Faith

Matthew 15:21-28

Happy Mother's Day! Women are a gift / Thank you for all you do.
Today I want us to look at an example from Scripture of a mother who had great faith.

CONTEXT: Jesus has be rebuking hypocrisy and teaching how its not the food that goes in to the body but the attitudes and behaviors that come out that condemns people because the heart is the bottom line. Jesus takes the heart issue and illustrates it for them now to show, that ultimately its the heart that's going to matter. No matter who we are, where we come from, in the end, God's after our heart and what He desires is FAITH, BELIEVING HEARTS.

Maybe today you think I'm not really a ''faith'' kind of person, or maybe there is person in your family or friends that just seems to far gone... this mom's story is going to show us faith is found in unlikely people sometimes. Maybe today you are weary... you feel like throwing in the towel but hopefully God will use this mom's story to strengthen your faith for the long haul. Maybe today you wonder, can I make a difference? -- From this mom we are going to learn how God can use us in the lives of others.--- FAITH MATTERS!

[28] Then Jesus answered her, ''O woman, ...
