Today we pick back up in the book of Acts. Summarize Acts. In chapter 6, there is a complaint. The Greek speaking Jewish Christians, the Hellinists, complain their widows are not being cared for properly in the food distribution. This is being handled by the Apostles, and they realize they need help. They pick 7 godly men to help them so they don't become over burdened and the preaching of the Word is not hindered. It is in that passage we are introduced to Stephen. The first of the 7 mentioned.

ILLUS.- Do you have a Christian you remember before your conversion? ''That guy.''
Stephen would have been that guy for Paul. He may have been, the Christian he thought about when he thought about his life before Christ. A Christian that likely impacted his life. -- Something is different about that guy!---

In Stephen we see an unstoppable Christian. He was literally killed for his faith but his witness and his impact lived on. Stephen's witness outlived him, he lived like Jesus was literally the risen, exalted King of Kings, like Jesus was better than anything. --

As we examine this text, let's learn better how to live the unstoppable Christian life that Stephen did.
