JESUS CHRIST lived in the real world but with an other world
attitude. He was heavenly minded about earthly things.
All of us live in two worlds. The challenge is presented by the
fact there are three from which to choose.
The FIRST WORLD is the real every day literal world.
The SECOND WORLD is dream world. It is the world of our
fantasies; that quiet world where our imagination runs wild.
This is a thought pattern where carnal attitudes prevail.
The THIRD WORLD is the world of a divine perspective. That is, a
mental state when we view things from God's perspective. Another
way of stating this is to speak of having a Biblical world view;
looking at things God's way.
All of us live in the first world, the real world. We then
choose which of the other world views we will apply to what
happens to us in the real world. It is your choice.
I. THE PRINCIPLE
Use your imagination. Something happens to you in the real
world. What happens to us is not as important as how we respond.
We can't always control what happens to us but we can control
our attitude regarding it.
In the real world you deal with all sorts of temperaments. Some
folk have the personality of a pit bull crossed with Lassie.
They will bite your face off and go for help.
