AMERICA: A NATION ABOUT TO REVEAL ITS SOUL
I CORINTHIANS 10: 6 - 12
(PAGE 1676 COME ALIVE BIBLE)
JESUS CHRIST posed a question to His generation that is germane
for this generation: "O faithless and perverse generation, how
long shall I be with you and bear with you?" (Luke 9:41).
Condemnation and crucifixion brought suffering to Jesus.

obstreperous. The root word STREPHO meant "to turn." The prefix
APO meant "from." To be perverse meant to turn away from God.
Christ's pain over such conduct is acknowledged in the
expression, "how long shall I bear with you?," literally, "how
long shall I put up with you?"God's patience runs out!
Turning can be so gradual that it can't be seen in a moment.
However, by comparing the position at one moment with that of a
time lapse, it can be detect ...
