ARE YOU A "NO SHOW" OR A "KNOW SO" CHRISTIAN?

JESUS CHRIST said, "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who
believes in Me has everlasting life" (John 6:47).
This is a challenge for you to evaluate your eternal destiny.
Quisically, people often say, "I wish I could know for sure
where I will spend eternity."
Such persons are to be commended and encouraged. Commended:
because they are mature enough to realize they have an eternal
destiny and are not so absorbed with the here and now that they
fail to consider the inevitable. Encouraged: because their
desire to know can be answered.
If I didn't know where I would spend eternity I would not rest
until I knew where and was sure it was in heaven.
The Lord, knowing there would be many persons with such a
burning earnest desire to be certain of their eternal destiny,
inspired the writing of the little book of I John that we might
"know."
"These things I have written to you who believe in the name of
the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life...
(I John 5:13). Did you grasp it? "...you may know..."
In that same Book of I John 1:5 a related theme is emphasized:
"These things we write to you that your joy may be full" (I John
1:4).

The same book gives us another key word related to our
salvation: "Everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself,
just as He is pure" (I John 3:3).
