JESUS CHRIST said John 14: 1 - 6.
Let's address some strategic questions regarding Heaven.
I. HOW MANY HEAVENS ARE THERE?
One is the earth's atmosphere called "the open firmament of
heaven" (Gen. 1:20).
Another is the stellar heaven spoken of in Ps. 8:3,4.
The other is called the "third heaven" II Cor. 12:2.
II. IS HEAVEN AN ACTUAL PLACE?
Jesus said, "I go to prepare for you a PLACE..."
Rev. 21 - 22:5 describes the New Jerusalem which is simply one

Since Christ's resurrection, believers are said to "be with

In Luke 16 the unsaved was said to already be in torment. He
still awaited the "Great White Throne" at which the degree of
suffering for the lost will be decided just as the "judgment
seat of Christ," which determines the degree of reward for
believers.
On the cross Christ told the repentant thief, "Today you will be
with me in Paradise." This is a Persian word meaning "the kings
garden." Kings had lovely gardens around their palaces where
