Encourage One Another
Brian Fletcher
Ephesian 6:21-24
Intro: Last sermon in our series on Ephesians Remember, this is a letter written by the apostle Paul. He is writing from a prison in Rome. But its a ''letter'' written to friends and to a congregation of people and meant to be distributed to other congregations. Letters tend to be personal and we see here in the last couple of verses that the Ephesian church was probably concerned about Paul's well being and wanted to know how he was doing.
Paul says he will send someone, specifically, a man named Tychicus. Tychicus is mentioned 5 times in the New Testament and as Paul notes he is:

- Faithful minister in the Lord and a servant
- Tychicus is from the area of Ephesus and has already been a part of this church.
- Paul is sending him back there to encourage the believers and let them know how he is doing
Many times the verses at the beginning or end of letters are often overlooked. But they contain very important things for us to learn, and that is why they are a part of the Holy Scriptures.
