In these two verses we find four areas I want to expound on. As always let us unit our Spirits to come together to hear and receive the Lord's heart and His instructions.

''Father God Almighty, Your ways are the best and You are the King above all other dominions. Your Kingdom reigns supreme and Your principals are how this Kingdom operates on. Let us learn from You the right way to think, speak, and act. Open our hearts to receive good seed and Your Word is always good seed and I ask for a harvest 100 times more than what is being planted; in the name of Jesus amen.''

Zephaniah the prophet continues and we see the first area we are going to look at is fear Me.

When the Lord says He wants us to fear Him this is not a bad thing but a good thing. Let me explain by telling you about my Dad.

Story Time: As a young lad going to school I had no fear of my teachers and even the principal I did not fear. My Dad could give me a look and I straightened right up. I had a healthy fear of my Dad. My Dad loved me but I had to answer to this higher power. The same is with God. I do not fear the policeman on the side of the road I have a healthy fear of God. Now I answer to the ultimate Highest power-God Almighty.

Another Story: as a Chaplain if I can change an inmate's mind to see he needs to live to please the Lord he will gain a healthy fear of the Lord. An inmate came into my office and I asked him about his future. This inmate said his family lives in California hence he wants to sneak back into the USA to see them. My conversation with him I said, ''Open the Bible and read here.''

We read together: ''Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.

After reading this his face changed and he saw the folly of his thinking. As I explained, ''This time you will have spent how much time in prison? Onc ...
