Loving Service (1 of 4)
Series: Serve Others
Steve Jones
Luke 22:27
SERIES SUMMARY: ''Love God, Love People, Serve Others'' is a mission statement for many churches, including ours. This series focuses on the ''Serve Others'' aspect of that mission. 1) We serve others in Love. 2) We serve others with our gifts. 3) We serve others INSIDE the church. 4) We serve others OUTSIDE the church.
INTRODUCTION: Who said the following quote? ''Better to reign in hell than to serve in Heaven.'' I want you to write on the back of your bulletin if you think you know. We'll come back and answer at the end of the message (if I forget remind me...but I won't forget).

Before we delve into the specifics of how we serve and in what ways we can serve, I want us to start with something even more basic - WHY we serve. Let's start with ''why'' and do a little review at the same time.

This is called the ''providence'' of God. The Bible gives the distin ...
