1) We serve others in Love.
2) We serve others with our gifts.
3) We serve others INSIDE the church.
4) We serve others OUTSIDE the church.

Introduction: I received the following email: ''Brains of older people are slow because they know so much. People do not decline mentally with age; it just takes them longer to recall facts because they have more information in their brains. Scientists believe this also makes you hard of hearing as it puts pressure on your inner ear. Also, older people often go to another room to get something and when they get there, they stand there wondering what they came for. It is NOT a memory problem; it is nature's way of making older people do exercise.''

So while we all know that the OLDER people here today do not need a review, let's review for the sake of the YOUNGER people.

Our church mission statement is ''Love God - Love People - Serve Others.'' This month we've been focusing on serving others. When we love God and we love people then we will serve others. God has given us spiritual gifts with which to serve others and these gifts are a part of their sanctification and ours. We are to serve others with excellence.

Today I want to zero in on how to serve others. Many of you may have already found a ''niche'' in which to serve others - maybe more than one. Some of us may not have found our niche yet. How do we do that? How do we go about finding OUR place of service?

Ephesians 4:16 ''From him (Christ) the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.''
