Welcome to those at our Mill Creek Campus as well as those watching online. We are one church at two locations. Today I am teaching from our Sugarloaf Campus. Our Mill Creek Campus is located 20 minutes to our north. I encourage you to attend the campus closest to you.

Introduction

1. Like the vast majority of people I am a fan of numbered list. But, also like the vast majority of people I am especially drawn to a top ten list. In an article published by The Journal of Consumer Research, they have shown that for some reason we are drawn to a list of ten. A mark of success for a sports team (for example) is when they are ranked in the Top Ten. If you show people a list of top ten things there are two they will remember almost every time. The first one and the tenth one. There is even a name for this phenomenon. It is called ''The Top Ten Effect.''

2. I want to throw up a top ten list of the deadliest diseases in the world.

- Cancer
- Aids
- Ebola
- Rabies
- ALS
- Alzheimer's
- Fatal Insomnia
- Diabetes
-Cholera
- Malaria

All of those diseases have one thing in common. These diseases bring death from the inside of the body. That is why when doctors want to examine the real health of someone they take blood (which is on the inside) and even resort to x-rays, CAT-scans, and MRIs because they show what is on the inside.

3. In other words, it really is what is inside of you that counts, but that is not just true physically. It is true spiritually. It is true of your body and true of your soul. That is why today we are beginning a series of messages that we are calling, ''The Holy Who?'' We are going to do what I believe is a fascinating study on the most neglected person in the Trinity known as ''The Holy Spirit.''
