This is a ''Good Friday'' sermon that will explain why we call it good and not ''Horrible or Horrific Friday.''
Psa 85:10 KJV - Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
Col 1:19 KJV - For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;
Col 1:20 KJV - And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

In looking at the term ''Good Friday'' I have often asked myself and others if it was such a ''good day'' why did so many bad things occur. If it was such a good day, why was the Lord slain like an innocent lamb on that day.
I remember when I was in high school there was a couple that dated, the guy was like 6 ½ feet tall and the girl was not even 5 feet tall. It was one of the oddest things to see them together. In reality it was like the moment you seen them, you immediately thought, these two do not go together.
