Psalm 16:11 You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

We are in a new sermon series called PROMISED ONE. It is really about how Jesus is revealed throughout the Scriptures both Old and New Testaments. Before we can see Jesus throughout the Scriptures, we must first believe the Scriptures. We live in a world that has gotten too far away from this word of life. My prayer for you is that your eyes are fully open so that you can see how the Scriptures are alive and powerful, how God has breathed His life into the pages of this book so that it has the power to transform a life, and that Jesus is revealed in it!

When I came to Jesus 35 years ago, I didn't come with credentials or a theology degree. I came just as I am. Like the old song they sang at the end of every Billy Graham crusade:

Just as I am, without one plea?But that Thy blood was shed for me?And that Thou bid'st me come to Thee?O Lamb of God, I come! I come

Just as I am, though tossed about?With many a conflict, many a doubt?Fighting and fears within without?O Lamb of God, I come, I come

I just came to Jesus but my eyes to open to see how He was drawing me to Himself. He used the evil and the negative circumstances that were in my life to put in me a yearning for cleansing and newness. That is how we are saved. By simply coming to Jesus. There is a hole in every heart that only He can fill. I came to Him, but I know now that He came to me! When I came to Christ, I didn't tell Him that I must test the Bible to make sure that it is infallible before I come. There was no conflict. When we come to Christ, we SIMPLY BELIEVE. The first message we receive is TURN TO JESUS AND SIMPLY BELIEVE, then everything else begins to fall in place.
