What a wonderful way to go into the New Year - with the promises of God, the plan of God, and the power of God!
1. The Promise settles our hearts,
2. The Plan strategizes our steps,
3. The Power secures our victory.
1) The Promise
When I talk about the promise of God, I am talking about all the promises of God. There are over 3000 promises in God's word for His people.
When I say the promise settles our hearts, I mean that no matter what we go through or what life throws at us, there is always hope given to us from the word of God. The promises settle our hearts to know that He will never leave us nor forsake us. We can trust in the promises of God's word. Jesus is the One who will fulfill every promise that God has ever made to His people.
2 Corinthians 1:20 (NLT) For all of God's promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding ''Yes!'' And through Christ, our ''Amen'' (which means ''Yes'') ascends to God for his glory.
This scripture tells us that the promises of God have already been fulfilled in Jesus, but what gives God the glory is when they are fulfilled in us, His people. You see, it was not enough for Him to make promises TO us, His desire is to FULFILL THEM IN US!
So, I ask you, as we close out 2018 and go into 2019, what is the promise or what are the promises that you need fulfilled in your life?

- A new beginning
- Peace
- Provision
- Power to overcome
- Healing or wholeness
