Luke 17:1-6
We are celebrating Independence Day in America this weekend - Happy 4th of July to our friends at Cross Church. As the heat turns up, we find ourselves in the middle of summer and getting reading for VBS. Since the early 1870s, Vacation Bible School has been about preparing children spiritually Millions of children will flood into churches across America for the largest single evangelistic outreach most churches will do. Summer for churches means VBS - how many of you participated in Vacation Bible School at some point in your life? I wonder for how many of you did VBS play a significant role in you coming to know Christ? You can register online for our church's VBS, July 20-24. Would you prayerfully consider inviting and bringing a neighbor or a family member?

No matter how long time goes, there will never be more needed information on God's will for our spiritual lives that what we already possess in the Scriptures. The Scripture is accurate - we trust God's word more than our own experiences to guide us into God's pres ...
