I. P R O M I S E
Part of what Christ taught us is that happiness is an inside
job. Legend has it that years ago mankind abused wisdom. As
punishment the wise men decided to punish all persons by hiding
the secret of happiness and success. Suggestions: Bury it in
the depths of the Earth. "Man's curiosity will prompt him to
drill deep into the Earth until he finds it." Sink it to the
depth of the ocean floor. "No, man's adventurous nature will
prompt him to plumb the depth and find it." Abandon it on the
summit of the highest mountain. "Absurd, eventually man will
venture there and find it." Finally, "Here is what we will do
with the secret of happiness and success. We will hide it deep
inside of man himself, for he will never think to look there for
it."
