WHY DOES GOD SAY 'YES' OR 'NO' TO YOUR PRAYERS

JESUS CHRIST said, "Whatever things you ask when you pray,
believe that you receive them, and you will have them."
Mark 11: 24
Is that all there is to getting a prayer answered. No! That is
only one of several Biblical requirements for a productive
prayer-life. Several will be noted momentarily.
Let's analyze our prayers. In doing so perhaps we will see that
God has sometimes not answered a prayer when we thought He had.
Likewise, we may find He has answered a prayer when we thought
He didn't. Consider these CLASSIFICATIONS of prayer.
Every prayer is divided into two parts.
A. REQUEST. This may be made verbally or mentally. It is the
thing asked for.
B. REASON. For what reason have you made your request?
The request may be for $10,000,000.00. For what reason would you
request such a sum? Reason one, might be in order to give it to
the cause of Christ in order to advance a specific ministry.
Reason number two, might be in order to buy a mansion in which
to live sensuously on drugs and serve Satan.
Our reason is often more important than our request to God who
may respond in one of four ways. He might say - - -
REQUEST - YES == REASON - NO.
REQUEST - NO == REASON - YES.
REQUEST - YES == REASON - YES.
REQUEST - NO == REASON - NO.
