Many of you have wasted parts of your life or your life and you’re wondering, “Can God Restore my Life?” “Can anyone help me with this mess I call life?” So for the next several weeks we’re want to offer hope for restored lives. How do I right my wrongs? How do I raise my generosity? How do I reunite my Family? How do I restore my faith in God?

Years ago an S-4 submarine was rammed by a ship off the coast of Massachusetts. It sank immediately. The entire crew was trapped in a prison house of death. Every effort was made to rescue the crew, but all ultimately failed. Near the end of the ordeal, a deep-sea diver, who was doing everything in his power to find a way for the crew’s release, thought he heard a tapping on the steel wall of the sunken sub. He places his helmet up against the side of the vessel and he realized it was Morse Code. He attached himself to the side and he spelled out in his mind the message being tapped from within. It was repeating the same question. The question was, from within, “Is … there … any … hope?”

Lives that have been ruined by sin need hope. And for many of you this morning you’re tapping on the inside of your own sunken vessels asking is there any hope for my life. Someone I recently spoke with placed their life in these terms. “I recently been divorced and my spouse who cheated on me got everything. My spouse has the great job. My spouse received the kids. My spouse is off with someone else on a weekend trip and I am lonely. Lonely with the dreams of a life that once was and what could have been. Why does God reward my ex when they were so clearly in the wrong?”
