Simon of Cyrene, Seized, Shocked, But Saved!!! (3 of 13)
Series: Characters of Easter
Donald Cantrell
Matthew 27: 32, Mark 15: 21, Luke 23: 26, and Romans 16:13
I - The Dramatic Arrival and Shock of Simon (Mark 15: 21)
II - The Divine Appointment and Seizing of Simon (Luke 23: 26)
III - The Deep Anguish and Sympathy of Simon (Matthew 27: 32)
IV - The Daring Assumption and Salvation of Simon (Mark 15: 21)
V - The Deliberate Appeal and Story of Simon
This sermon contains a fully alliterated outline, with sub-points and is a very comprehensive study on the life of Judas and we discuss many scriptures that deal with his story.
In this sermon series, I will be preaching on various characters that are involved in the Easter story. Before each of my sermons, I am going to have someone dress up as the character and stand before the church and read a dialogue that describes their life and their part in the Easter story.
I will write the dialogue for each character and have it as the introduction for each of the sermons. If you want to see how this is done, you can watch us on ''FaceBook Live.'' I will be starting this series sometime in late March and will preach all of the sermons in our Sunday Morning Services.
If you have any questions, please contact me or send me a message on FB.
