FAMILY SECRETS

JESUS CHRIST loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life.
Your sense of fulfillment is directly related to how you
cooperate with Him in fulfilling that plan. To be in His will is
to be engaged in a life of challenge and blessing.
Foundational to this fulfillment is being a member of the Family
of God. Like regular human families you have to be born (again)
to be a member of His family. Deciding to be a member of God's
eternal family is the most important decision of one's life.
Perhaps the second most important decision is whether to live as
a single adult or to marry. Neither state is necessarily better
than the other. What is important is which is God's will for
you. There again, fulfillment in life is directly related to how
you cooperate with Him in fulfilling His plan for your life. Our
text addresses both lifestyles and commends each.
Some singles act as though changing states is all that is
essential to their happiness.
Some married people think that changing states is all that is

Married couples should stop and think if being single were such
a super state why did they ever get married in the first place?
Singles should stop and think if being married is such a utopian
state why are so many married couples getting divorced?
What counts is being in and doing God's will.
