We love to take our credit cards into stores we like. Maybe it's shopping at the mall for clothes. perhaps its going to the hunting show in Harrisburg. Maybe you can't resist walking into harbor freight and seeing all of these things that you previously didn't know existed, now which you desperately need.

For me that store is chic vil a. I go into that place and I don't even look at the prices. My self control suddenly just goes limp.

We use our credit cards to buy what we wish and at the end of the month there is a reckoning. You get an email from American Express telling you how much you owe.

And they hold you accountable to pay. There is a cost. And we all recognize that. SO hopefully you use your credit cards wisely and pay off your balance every month.

But Sometimes people act like credit cards are these magic pieces of plastic that produce cool stuff out of nothing.

You would be a fool to spend and spend and spend as if you wouldn't be held accountable.

So that fact that there will be an accounting causes us to have caution.

How much more cautious should we be as we deal with sin? -As we consider that fact that our souls live on for eternity.

We must continually be aware of the fact that there will be a reckoning- when God will hold every sin under his meticulous judgment!

Because an awareness of judgment causes us to live cautiously. To make right choices.

After asking people, ''What do you think is going to happen after you die'' Many have said- I don't know I've never really thought about it.

And I think, are you crazy? This life is just a mist, like the steam on a cup of coffee, and your soul will be somewhere for eternity. How could you not think about that?

Jonathan Edwards' 9th resolutions was -

9. Resolved, to think much on all occasions of my own dying, and of the common circumstances which attend death.
