If you have your Bibles with you now this evening, if you will, be finding your place again at Genesis chapter 3. I haven't quite squeezed all of the juice out of this chapter that I want to deal with here.

Maybe y'all remember ... When I was growing up, I used to go to my nanny's house, and my nanny had this little plastic straw, and I've mentioned that since I've been here, and somebody gave me a couple of these, but my nanny had this little plastic straw that you would stick into an orange, and you would rub it around, and you would get the ... How many of y'all remember those days? Remember those? Anybody got those? Maybe you had those at your house. Can I see your hand? Most of you are backslidden then.

But I remember being at my nanny's house, and you would get all the juice, and you'd just keep squeezing and keep squeezing and keep squeezing until basically the orange just split open in your hand. Then you'd eat the rest of it. Amen? Well, that's kind of what I want to do here tonight. We're back in Genesis, chapter 3, and if you want to find your spot down there, we're going to be down around verses 14 and 15 in Genesis 3 tonight.

You know, when you begin to go through your Bible, and if you're like I talked about this morning, you're getting into your Bible, and you are learning, and you're feeding on the word of God, and by the way, that really ought to be the testimony of your life. You ought to be a person that is marked by the word of God. You need to be in your Bible on a daily basis. You need to be feeding and feasting on the word of God.

And when you begin to go through your Bible, you're not going to begin to realize and recognize that there are some very important verses in the Bible. John 3:16: For God so loved the word that he gave his only begotten Son that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.
