YOU ARE AN OBJECT OF PRAYER
JOHN 17: 20 - 26

JESUS CHRIST personally prayed for you. Just before His death
He prayed for His disciples and "for those who will believe in
Me..." That is us. YOU! Jesus prayer for me.
In His last private session with His disciples before His
crucifixion He prayed with and for them. Then He expanded His
prayer to include us. He had a prayer life unexcelled. The
father awaits opportunity to answer His prayer in your life.
Only you can prevent the Father answering Christ's prayer.
In this prayer it is as though He asks the Father for four
things on our behalf. In examining His prayer which the Father
wants to answer ask your self what you are doing to enable or
prevent Him from answering it. He prayed for ---
I.ONENESS (Vs. 21) "that they may be one"
We hear of the Trinity, three in one, but what Christ's prayed
for was four in one: God the Father, God the Son, and God the
Holy Spirit were one. Jesus included "they," that is us. Four
in one: God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit and
us.
The purpose of this prayer is that the world might believe. The
size of a church won't impress the world. Oneness will.
Oneness is a revelation of His supernatural presence. With our
diversity of temperaments, backgrounds, and interest there is no
natural way for a group to be one apart from the
supernaturalpresence and control of Christ.
He was not calling for uniformity but harmony and accord. As
the members of the Trinity are distinct and have different
