Series: Amos
Jim Perdue
Amos 1:1-2
This morning, I begin a brand new series on the Old Testament book of Amos. It's a series I'm calling, Let Justice Roll. Maybe you wish you could have pressed the pause button, then rewind a little bit and have another try? When I was a kid, I remember thinking, ''What if life was like some of these video games. When something happens you don't like, you can just go back to the start and try again.'' Well, one of the things Amos is trying to do is to get the people of God to go back to the start, back to the beginning, back to the basics of what it means to follow God. This is a great lesson for us today. Maybe God is calli ...
