Tonight I want us to hear what Paul has to teach his preacher boy by the name of Titus about showing God's grace. Showing God's grace. Titus 3, beginning in verse one. Speaking of grace, I heard about a guy who woke up one morning and he'd gotten a promotion. As a result of that he'd gotten a raise, and things were really good. Got a bonus, if you will. And he decided, ''Every morning for the last 20 years I have gotten up and I have shaved myself. And you know what I'm gonna do today? I'm gonna go down to the barber shop and I'm gonna get a real, sure enough, shave.'' He went down to the local barber shop where the barber was actually the local pastor. He walked into the barber/pastor's barber shop and the pastor, the barber, happened to be out on a call, and so the pastor's wife, the barber's wife was there. And he said, ''Hey, I'd like to get a shave.'' And she said, ''Well, my husband, the pastor, the barber, he's gone, but I'd be glad to give you a shave.''

He said, ''Okay. How much will that shave cost me?'' She said, ''It'll cost you $20.'' He said, ''Wow. That's a little steep for a shave. But you know what? I'm splurging today. I got a promotion. I got a bonus. And so yeah, let's get 'er done.'' She lathered him up and she pulled out that straight razor. Anybody ever seen ... anybody ever had a straight razor shave? Can I see your hands? Weren't y'all scared to do that? I mean, one little slip and you're in eternity, amen? And so she lathered him up and she shaved him and she put that hot towel ... he was great. He paid her and he walked out the door and he noticed the next several days, no stubble. A week later, still no stubble. Two weeks later, still just as smooth as a baby's bottom. And three weeks later, absolutely not even a three o'clock shadow. How many of y'all understand what I mean? He went back by the barber shop and he said, ''Ma'am,'' he saw Grace agai ...
