DON'T TAKE THE "MENTAL" OUT OF FUNDAMENTALIST

JESUS CHRIST said, "Go therefore and make disciples of all
nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son
and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I
have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the
end of the age" (Matthew 28: 19 - 20).
He said "make disciples." What is a disciple? A learner. What
are they to learn? They are to learn why they are taught. What
are they taught? He said we are to be busy "teaching them to
observe all things" that He has commanded us.
The Bible is the divinely inspired, supernaturally authored,
infallibly authoritative Word of God intended to serve as the
instruction manual for Christians. It is from it He intends His
followers to be taught.
Paul, in exhorting young Timothy regarding the great tenants of
the faith that he should "commit these to faithful men who will
be able to teach others also." Thus, the chain of faithful
instruction was begun. These fundamentals of the faith are to
be faithfully passed on from one generation to another.
There now, I have used that term that is closely akin to a word
that has been much in the news lately: fundamentals. It comes
from the same root as fundamentalist.
I.WHAT ARE FUNDAMENTALIST?
To be best understood, the word needs an adjective with it.
Based on the connotation in the international political world,
the word conjures up some fanatical extremist, such as, the
