Causality is the physics principle that confirms the connection of events. Because people text frequently, their verbal skills are poor. Because some people spend all their money, their savings is minimal. And because grandparents spoil their grandchildren, the world is a happier place to live in!

To understand causality, think about coffee. I've even got a graphic on the screen for you so you can visualize. Some of you need a cup of coffee to wake up, but you can't sleep if you drink too much coffee. And if you don't get enough sleep, you can't wake up. Hence, the Caffeine Causality Loop is very real!

I'm basing my Christmas series on the Principle of Causality: Because of Bethlehem ... Mary Sang. Had the angel not appeared to Mary, Bethlehem would be inconsequential to the Christmas story. Had the angels not appeared to the shepherds, they would not have made an impromptu visit to the manger to worship. Had the star not appeared over the eastern skies, the Wise Men would not have traveled in order to worship and present their gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. Had Joseph not been the recipient of his angelic dream, he would not have trusted his instincts.

The theme verse comes from Micah 5:

2 But you, Bethlehem, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.

Because of Bethlehem. Ever notice how many famous persons come from small towns - like Bethlehem? Larry Bird was born and raised in French Lick, Indiana, (population 1,807). Florence Henderson grew up in Dale, Indiana (population 1,583). Will Rogers was a Cherokee Indian from Oologah, Oklahoma (population 1,146). Jessica Biehl was born in Ely, Minnesota (population 3,460).

Taylor Swift was born on a Christmas tree farm in Pennsylvania (population? About 35,000 Christmas trees). Gobbler's Knob is ...
