Series: The Star

Luke 2:4-20

OPEN: I love to sing Christmas Carols, so this morning we're going to start out the sermon with ''Joy to the World''

1. Joy to the world the Lord has come, let earth receive her King
Let every heart prepare him room
And heaven and nature sing, and heaven and nature sing
And heaven and heaven and nature sing

2. Joy to the earth the Savior reigns, let men their songs employ
While fields and floods rocks, hills, and plains
Repeat the sounding joy, repeat the sounding joy
Repeat, repeat the sounding joy.

3. He rules the world with truth and grace and makes the nations prove
The glories of His righteousness, and wonders of His love
And wonders of His love; and wonders, wonders of His love

JOY shows up when we least expect it.'' (This video came with the package we purchased from Outreach.com as part of their 5-week Advent and Christmas Eve Campaign which used clips from ''The Star'' - a movie distributed by Sony Pictures).

That seemed ...
