PRAISE GOD FROM WHOM ALL BLESSINGS FLOW
GENESIS 35: 1 - 4
JESUS CHRIST has blessed each of us. Some have responded in love
and received the greatest blessing of all - a personal
relationship with Him called salvation. Many have walked
personally close with Him since that moment. Others have not
been faithful to their commitment. Each of us does well to pause
and reflect on the God of our new life.
Individually He has blessed us. Likewise, collectively He has
blessed us. We who constitute the local body of Christ, this
church, have been blessed abundantly.
On this 40th anniversary we do well to pause and reflect on His
blessings in order to commit ourselves to renewed service.
Every spiritual history has its special place, where memory
loves to linger, and where spiritual power pertains.
Special mercies deserve special remembrance.
There are 3 parallel stories I want us to consider. As a
pattern, let's use the story of Jacob going back to ...
