Is There Senseless Tragedy
Stephen Whitney
Romans 8:28

People will describe some terrible accident, natural disaster or other event as a 'senseless tragedy' because it doesn't make sense why innocent people should have died.

Joseph's 'tragedy' was ordained by God for the purpose of saving his family. While it appeared as a senseless tragedy in reality it was a divinely appointed event to accomplish God's will.

Romans 8:28 states God's divine purpose over all tragedy. DIVINE PROMISE - we know We believe that God is in control and has a plan which he is working out in our lives even though we may not understand it.

Know - Gk. absolute, unshakable confidence in our mind. We are ab ...
