Psalm 126:5-6
The Bible says in Psalm 126:5-6, "They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth weeping, bearing his precious seed, shall doubtless come again rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
It is the business of every Christian to be a soul-winner. Yet, very few Christians know how to personally lead someone else to the Lord, how to lead someone else to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. This is indeed a tragedy, because Jesus commanded every believer to go into the world and preach the Gospel, to see them baptized, to make disciples.
Then in turn -- they are to teach the same things that Jesus commanded them -- and that is "to go." Certainly that is the heartbeat of God. You can't spell Gospel and you can't spell God without the little word Go.
As you read this, allow the Holy Spirit to teach you how to share your faith. This is the desire of all of heaven and the desire of every Christian. The greatest thing that could ever happen to you, apart from your own personal salvation, is to lead someone else to Jesus Christ; to see someone born into the kingdom of God.
What a tragedy it would be for you to receive Jesus Christ as your Savior, to live for Him for a number of years, and then to die and go to heaven empty-handed, knowing that there would be no one there who you had personally led to Jesus Christ.
Andrew introduced Peter, his own brother. The greatest thing that you can do for another is to introduce them to the Lord Jesus and to see Christ come into their heart and life, save them from their sin, and change their life. Such a person will be eternally indebted to the Lord and to you for allowing the Holy Spirit of God to use you in their life.
