We will be looking at 2 parables today that Jesus taught about the principle of GROWTH - the parable of the Sprouting Seed, and the parable of the Mustard Seed.

Mark 4:26 And He said, ''The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, 27 and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how. 28 For the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head. 29 But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.'' 30 Then He said, ''To what shall we liken the kingdom of God? Or with what parable shall we picture it? 31 It is like a mustard seed which, when it is sown on the ground, is smaller than all the seeds on earth; 32 but when it is sown, it grows up and becomes greater than all herbs, and shoots out large branches, so that the birds of the air may nest under its shade.''

These are 2 parables that are related to each other because they speak of increase or growth. This can be applied to the corporate Body of Christ, to us as a church, and to us as individuals.

The worldwide Body of Christ is growing. Despite some of the reports that you may have heard about Islam and other religions gaining strength. I am here to say there is ONE TRUE GOD and there is an end time harvest that we are about to reap. He coming back for a glorious bride, a victorious church!

Isaiah prophesied it speaking of the coming Messiah:

Isaiah 9:7 Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
