Many people spend their money on playing the lottery like the big one which is called the power ball (I know none of you do that. Somebody said, I believe playing the lottery is of God because Jesus spoke in ''power-balls'' - no, He spoke in parables!) The reason that they love playing the lottery is not to spend their money on lottery tickets. The reason is that they are in love with the fantasy of winning the big prize. They love dreaming about all their financial worries finally being behind them and living the lifestyles of the rich and famous. To win a treasure would be a dream come true for them, but for many it becomes a nightmare as people try to take advantage of them, and family members feel entitled to get some of it. The other big problem with so many that have won the lottery is that they end up in the same situation they were in before they won the jackpot. Statistically nearly 70% of lottery winners end up broke within seven years. Why? It is because the patterns of their broken lifestyle were never healed. If they weren't a good steward with the little they had before, they won't be a good steward with more. Since they didn't gain any wisdom from the hard times they went through, they remain foolish with their money. It becomes like sand falling through their fingers.
If only they had gained some wisdom and knowledge from what they experienced.
