Matthew 13:33

Matthew 13:33 Another parable He spoke to them: ''The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till it was all leavened.''

Although leaven symbolizes evil influences elsewhere in the New Testament, it is not generally interpreted that way in this parable. There are a few commentators that do see the leaven as reflecting future corrupting influences in the Church.

Matthew 16:6 Then Jesus said to them, ''Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees.''12 Then they understood that He did not tell them to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

From many commentators' perspectives, yeast is a symbol of corruption, which tends to multiply and spread like yeast. A little bit of yeast in the dough will make the whole thing rise because the yeast ferments and spreads throughout the entire lump of dough, making it all rise. Will it be pre-tribulation, mid-tribulation, or post-tribulation? Here's my answer, I don't know for certain when Jesus will come again, but I do know ...
