?Theme: ''The danger of ignoring the various callings of God''
?In Exodus chapter 3, we find Moses leading his sheep through the desert, when suddenly he sees a bush that is burning. The burning bush was not a big deal, but as he proceeded with his wanderings he noticed that the bush was still burning, but not consumed.
The only reason for the bush to have been burning and not consumed, was that the Lord needed to get the attention of Moses. This would prove to be a landmark day in the life of Moses as God called him into the prophetic ministry. He would leave the base of Mount Sinai and go back to the house of Jethro, his father-in-law; there he would inform them of his new vocation and his new destination. Moses would leave the land of Midian and go back to the land of Egypt, while there he would soon lead over 2 ½ million people out of bondage and back to the Land of Canaan.
