Blessed Mourning(4 of 6)
Series: Centered in Christ
Jeff Ecklund
Matthew 5:4

A life that is ''centered'' in Christ is blessed. I've decided....I want to be blessed...I've also realized that God WANTS me to be ''blessed''...Not only does God want me to be blessed, but He gives us the directions, the receipt, the way to position our lives to be in that constant stream of blessing from God!

Psalm 1:1-3 (ESV)?1 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers;?2 but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night.?3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. Barawkaw= impart prosperity/material benefits Are we generous?
Makerious= Greek word found in the beatitudes.....means happy

Matthew 5:1-4 (NASB95)?1 When Jesus saw the crowds, He went up on the mountain; and after He sat down, His disciples came to Him.?2 He opened His mouth and began to teach them, saying,?3 ''Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.?4 ''Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

A centered life in Christ is a life of paradox in a way. So many things that Jesus said do not make sense in a natural understanding... ...
