Open: A number of years ago, I attended a couple of Pastor Jack Hayford's intensives @ King's College for pastors....he taught on 24 essentials that every church should revisit...

Recently, the Lord reminded me of the ''essentials'' in life....

Depending on what you are doing, or where you are going....there are ''essentials''...(not essential oils....lol)

If you are traveling with the kids, especially young ones...you have some ''essential'' things that are just a given...

If you are a carpenter going to the job, there is a tool belt or a trailer full of essentials that are required by your profession...

When I was playing a lot of basketball in the day...I had (still have) a gym bag with shoes, braces, tape....Seems the older I got, the more tape, braces etc. I needed...felt like a walking sporting goods store by the end of it...

If we decided to get a bunch of guys together to play some bb, it would not happen without a couple essentials...A court, basket and a ball....just saying...

It's much the same way as a believer on the journey to follow Jesus...
As a Christian, maybe you are new in the faith...or have been walking with God for a lifetime...there are some basics, some ''essentials'' if you will that are good and necessary to have...

We are going to unpack some of the essentials...basic doctrines (teaching) etc.
If you are a believer who is new to the faith, you will need to pay attention, you need these essentials...

If you are a believer who has walked with Jesus for a while, you need to pay attention as well. Maybe there is something you should be sharing with people around you, especially people you are discipling.

I want to start this morning by addressing the essential principle of forgiveness, and the heart of God as our heavenly Father to forgive...

First of all, forgiveness is imperative for salvation...it has eternal consequences ...
