Genesis 28:10-19
In a conversation recently with a staff pastor, he brought up something that you don't hear a lot about.
That one of the most destructive heresies introduced to the church is the opinion that one can be a Christian and not be part of, go to, or commit to a church...that it's all about a ''personal savior'' and commitment to the local and the universal church is optional...You can't find that in scripture.
I talked with a friend recently who mentioned that he probably needed ''more church''....I agreed...
I replied that the church needed more of him! That's right!
If you look at church like the local gym, health club or latest diet that you need, you are looking through the wrong lenses...You are the church and Jesus is building something that will impact eternity with you and I.?
I love Jesus, and I love and want to be part of what Jesus is building on the earth today...
