Isaiah 43:18-19

2 Corinthians 5:15-17 (ESV) 15 and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised.?16 From now on, therefore, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we once regarded Christ according to the flesh, we regard him thus no longer.17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
1. No Longer Selfish (vs 15)
2. Look at others differently (vs 16)
3. Move into the New (vs 17)
Isaiah 43:18-19 (ESV)?18 ''Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old.?19 Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
Since the fall of man, there has been a rescue plan in place to redeem that which has been lost.
Through repentance, belief, faith and the Lordship of a relationship with Jesus, redemption is not only a possibility, but is a reality.
The passage in Isaiah also illustrates the desire of God to make things new! To bring forth, to ''spring'' forth new life, new ways...
The only way these things are possible is through the baptism/immersion of our lives into Kingdom life...

We Become:
1. People of Prayer
Man was created to be in intimate fellowship with God until sin entered into the world...Prayer is described as ''mans search for God'' but I would submit that it is also God's desire to fellowship with Man.
Interesting that even those who don't follow God still have something inside them that compels them to pray....to an idol, to a moon, to a rock or whatever!
