HOW TO GO WITH THE FLOW
Part 4
Philippians 2:12-13
There is so much talent in our church and I thank the Lord for
John Mark utilizing them and giving many people a chance to
minister to this body. Let's do something different, do you
remember when you were young? Let me ask you a question. How
many, okay I know that is at least two or three years back for
some of you, but when you used to go to prayer meetings. How
many of you used to go to a church that ran two or three-hundred
in Sunday School or less? Would you raise your hand? Do you
remember what used to happen on Wednesday night? Ya'll used to
get together, everybody used to get together and there would be
a prayer meeting. The pastor would preach and everybody would
kind of share a prayer request, they may be on the list, but
ya'll would really pray, you would really actually pray for
people. I want us to take a moment tonight, this is the body of
Christ, this is the believers' meeting in our church, this is
where God's people can be very transparent and honest with each
other. And I want us to pray for each other and pray for some
needs that are on our hearts tonight. I know that though this
is still a large crowd, this is about three times larger than
the average Baptist Church even on an Easter Sunday, even
tonight. I pray that you would be open and honest and if there
is a burden tonight that you have that we can lift up and pray
together for, would you do that tonight?
