We're spending the entire summer in the Psalms and I feel like a McDonald's commercial...I'm lovin' it! Hope you are too. If you brought a bible with you this morning, and I encourage you to do so, open it to Psalm 19. That's where we will be. Today we're going to deal with a question that is routinely asked by people both inside and outside of the church and that is this: Does the God of heaven still speak to the people on earth? Does the God of heaven still speak to the people of earth? And if so, how? If that's ever been a thought or question in your mind, Psalm 19 answers it very clearly and very emphatically. Are you interested in hearing what it says? (READ)

If you had the ability to approach King David, the writer of this psalm, and ask, 'David does the God of Heaven speak to people on earth?' He would probably say, 'Are you serious? Of course, He does.' It was a no brainer for David. Just like any other healthy relationship that desires closeness, clarity, and intimacy, communication with God is a must. And the most important communication with God isn't you talking to Him. It's God speaking to you. I go so far to say that if you never get better in hearing from God, you will never get better in speaking to Him. In other words, the key to better praying is better listening. In this psalm, David tells us that the God of heaven speaks to the people of earth in more than one way, and we need to be attuned to all of them. First, God Speaks...

V 1-6: ''The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.''
