Colossians 4:2-6
2 Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. 3 At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ, on account of which I am in prison- 4 that I may make it clear, which is how I ought to speak. 5 Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. 6 Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.

If you have been with us over the last few weeks we have been in a series called Table Talk and our goal in this series is for those of you who are Christians to begin building intentional outward facing relationships. One of the things that we said last week is that every Christian has inward facing relationships and outward facing relationships. So for example this is an inward facing relationship, it is good for the church to gather to face in to be with one another and to encourage one another and stir one another along in the faith. And as I said last week if you are not a Christian I am really glad you are here you are certainly welcome here and I think it will be good for you to see how Christians interact with one another. One of the things that Jesus told us is that, we will be known by the way that we love one another, so if you see mature and unifying love that is different and good, that is good evidence that Jesus is Lord and obviously I would encourage you to keep asking questions to keep pursuing and understanding of the Christian faith. But the primary purpose of this gathering is for Christians to come together, to worship together, to be taught together to pray together. The gathering of the church is an inward facing relationship but in 45 minutes or so we will scatter and then we will have all of these relationships with people who aren't Christians who don't know Jesus is Lord and the p ...
