Psalm 19:1-4
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the
work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night
after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or
language where their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out
into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world...
Then again in Romans 1:20-21 the Scripture says:
For since the creation of the world God's invisible
qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been
clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that
men are without excuse. For although they knew God, they neither
glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking
became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.
It wasn't long ago when my son and I were looking at his science
book as he was studying one evening, he opened the book up and
showed me the Time Line. He said, "Dad, look at this. I've got
questions. I hear what the Bible says on one hand and I read
what the science book says on the other. How does all this fit
together? Adam and Eve and the dinosaurs. What is evolution
and how does all that fit together with my knowledge of the
Bible? Help me put this together!" That's exactly what I want
to do today. Help you put it together.
The word "evolution" literally means, "change". That's exactly
what needs to happen in the scientific community and in the
lives of every individual. We need a change. How we look at
life, how we look at God and how we look at ourselves. We need
