John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

John 12:44 Then Jesus cried out and said, ''He who believes in Me, believes not in Me but in Him who sent Me. 45 And he who sees Me sees Him who sent Me. 46 I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness. 47 And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. 48 He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him--the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.

Let me ask you a question. What would you do if you saw a blind man walking toward a busy intersection? You would jump out of your car to get him before he gets hit and bring him to safety. Of course, you would...because you have something that he doesn't have. Eyesight. What about those that are walking around in spiritual blindness. You can see!

You couldn't see before, but now you see. You have been given spiritual eyes. Your eyes have been opened to see behind the veil, to see what you couldn't see before. When you and I come to Christ, and give our hearts and our lives to Him, He opens our eyes to see. The grass is greener, the sky is bluer, and everyone is beautiful. He gives us a burden for those who walk in darkness because He has healed us of spiritual blindness. Like the story of the blind man heading toward the busy intersection, we not only have spiritual eyes ...
