Joshua 1:1
I want to talk to you today about the importance of our walls coming down. When we talk about the CHURCH WITHOUT WALLS, we must understand that in order for us to have an impact on the world out there, our walls must come down. We all know the story of Joshua and the Battle of Jericho. Joshua, who took over where Moses left off as the leader of God's people, was finally fulfilling God's call on his life to bring the Israelites all the way into the Promised Land. They crossed over the Jordan by the Mighty Hand of the Lord and were in Canaan, but soon thereafter they came to realize that while there was great provision and promise there, there were also many giants in the land. But God would help them to defeat every single one of them. All it took was for Joshua to hear from God and to proclaim it to the people that looked to him as their leader.
Joshua 1:1 After the death of Moses the servant of the Lord, it came to pass that the Lord spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' assistant, saying: 2 ''Moses My servant is dead. I will not leave you nor forsake you. 6 Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. 7 Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it ...
