Part II
Do you know why we sing songs? Have you caught yet why we
worship when we sing? And why we sing to worship? You know a
lot of us just take that for granted.
But what music does, it helps us in our confession, to adore
Him, and to honor Him and to give Him not only glory but also to
remind our hearts of who we are and what we are about. Why does
the church enter into worship? Why do we make a big deal about
worship? Why do believers need to worship?

Let me tell you why, listen, students, you need to hear this.
Adults, you need to hear this. When we enter the presence of
God, and with all of our hearts and with all of our being, we
focus on the Lord Jesus Christ. It is in that moment of real
heart-felt worship that we begin to sense His presence and enter
His presence and so we begin to feel His mind and know His will
and begin to intercede as to where He wants us to go. It is in
that worship experience that we not only enjoy the Lord, who we
have been created to have fellowship with, but it is in that
worship experience that we allow our hearts and our minds to be
put in the right position at the right time to be motivated to
do exactly what He wants us to do. It is out of that heart
commitment in worship and real true Biblical praise honoring
Jesus worship that we realign ourselves with whose we are so
that when we leave that worship experience, we will begin to
walk like whose we are. That's why worship is very important.
